In 2001, XIMIS released version 3.0 of XIRIS™. At the core, Version 3.0 was redesigned using JAVA servlets and JSP. XIMIS also added new features to the RIS which included a Mammography Tracking Module and improved security protocols that utilize activity Logging and HIPAA auditing logs.
Today XIMIS continues its growth with version 7.0, the newest version of our RIS, which will be showcased at RSNA 2006. The release of XIRIS™ 7.0 Enterprise brings further enhancements to features that you have come to trust to take your center into an era of filmless and paperless radiology. In XIRIS™ Enterprise, you'll see how our X-Marketing module, designed to increase physician referrals to your clinic, has been expanded with new and powerful features that enhance the performance in areas such as patient tracking, statistical and auditing information. Exam impressions can be sketched directly onto the systems through the screen. Notes can be added that trigger e-mails to corresponding staff. In addition, XIRIS™ Enterprise includes basic pathology demographics that can be integrated with any other system to feed.
XIRIS™ Enterprise is a solution built for facilities with a high number of transactions and/or for multiple facilities. Because XIRIS™ Enterprise includes a heavy redundancy and advanced load balancing, it minimizes the risk of downtime due to hardware failure.
The Auto Distribution Center in our RIS greatly increases your productivity and accuracy in getting the report to the appropriate parties. In addition, X-Billing can be integrated to your RIS for optimizing your claims submission and collections. As soon as you begin to schedule your patients, the system can begin checking the eligibility of your patient for their exams. You'll experience ease and accuracy with our automated billing system that will save your staff valuable time. With X-Billing, you can say good-bye to traditional manual submissions and the tedious work of form filling needed to submit claims to carriers.
XIRIS™ 7.0 also includes features such as Time Matrix that allows facilities to easily track an exam by graphically showing the time spent throughout each process and the time remaining for report distribution and to determine the urgency of the exam.
MyXIRIS is an essential tool that helps reduce the workload in a front office by allowing patients to do their own exam scheduling and update their personal information through the web from wherever they are. It also enables patients to view their medical reports from previous visits to the clinic. MyXIRIS Self Registration gives on-site patients the option to register themselves through the use of a KIOSK. Here the patient can scan insurance cards or ID's and sign authorization forms directly into the system directly upon arrival without the usual wait time.
