XIRIS Overview

XIRIS's newest version is 7.0. Enterprise. It offers several enhancements to features that customers have come to trust. It takes your imaging facilities further into an era of filmless and paperless radiology designed always to increase your efficiency. Some of its new and powerful features enhance the performance in areas such as patient tracking, statistical and auditing information.

Version 7.0 offers a new scheduling module, which streamlines the scheduling process. It was designed with the scheduler in mind. It allows flexibility in data input when scheduling appointments to increase efficiency. It offers several "next available appointment" options and other enhancements that have been requested by clients.

XIRIS 7.0 offers embedded digital dictation and/or voice recognition by Speech Magic. Also, there are enhancements designed especially for Teleradiology or Read Only facilities. It introduces a new feature, a user defined Time Matrix. This feature enables facilities to easily track an exam by graphically showing the time spent throughout each process and the time remaining for report distribution and to determine the urgency of the exam.

With facilities using more and more new technology, Version 7 can now be used with PC tablets, and PDAs. Also, the new digiforms allow exam impressions to be sketched directly onto the systems through the screen. To increase the ease of customizing XIRIS to the facility's needs, a new "Note and Trigger" feature was developed. These notes can trigger patient letters or emails, etc. XIRIS's Auto Distribution feature greatly increases your productivity and accuracy in getting the report to the appropriate parties.

XIRIS Enterprise is a solution built for facilities with a high number of transactions and/or for multiple facilities. Because XIRIS Enterprise includes a heavy redundancy and advanced load balancing, it minimizes the risk of downtime due to hardware failure.
