XIRIS 6.0 also includes new features such as Time Matrix, a user-friendly designwhich allows facilities to track an exam graphically showing the time spent throughout each process of the patient’s examination and the time remaining for report distribution. This feature also identifies which exams are normal and which exams are considered urgent.

 MyXIRIS is an essential tool that helps reduce the workload in a front office by allowing patients to do their own exam scheduling and update their personal information through the web from the comfort of their home or wherever they are. In addition to this, MyXIRIS enables patients to view their medical reports from previous visits to clinics.

Similar to this concept is another timesaving feature called MyXIRIS Self Registration. This self-registration module gives patients the option to register themselves through the use of a KIOSK directly upon arrival. Here the patient can scan insurance cards or ID’s and sign authorization forms directly into the system.

The MammoTrack, XIMIS’ mammography tracking utility, has been expanded with new and powerful features to continue to improve workflow and efficiency for a one-stop, paperless environment with its components delivered and accessed over the Internet. Today’s version enhances the performance in patient tracking, statistical and auditing information. Exam impressions can be sketched directly onto the systems through the screen. Notes can be added that trigger e-mails to corresponding staff. In addition, XIRIS Enterprise includes basic pathology demographics that can be integrated with any other system to feed.

The DigiForms utility has become a need in more facilities, allowing them to slowly transform into paperless environments by converting their regular forms into digital forms.
